Fellow Musicians

In the song of life, there are many musicians. As I learn to play the guitar again, I'm excited about the possibility of being in a band for the first time. It's a bit hard to remember all the chords and notes, but it reminds me about the "soundtrack" of life. So many people have contributed to the music in my life, and I am grateful for every one of them.

It seems that we crisscross paths at just the right time. An old friend, a new one. We work together to make life sing, to share the gospel, to encourage hearts. A friend is there when you need them. To send you an encouraging note, to save you a seat when you're late, to cheer you up when you're down. Some pop in and out of our lives, but One always remains constant and is always close (Proverbs 18:24).

Jesus is the conductor, harmonizing our voices, uniting our talents. We have the opportunity to have a strong voice for God when we pray, speak, and write. When we love and make a difference. When one heart needs some love, or when a thousand need just the right word. So God bless you this week as you serve Him wherever you are, and don't stop singing for the Lord!
